The beauty of fly fishing with Orange Spanish Fly is that you can use them at any time of year. They are always available as fish food, even when the availability of other insects is limited.

They are an ideal imitation to use during non-hatching periods of early spring and low light conditions, very early in the morning and late in the evening. They are good generalist shrimp patterns for catching fish all over the world. Newly hatched fry look like smaller versions of the adults.
