Green Highlander Salmon Tube Fly

The bright green that is used in the assembly of this fly, gives it the name Green Highlander.

The Green Highlander salmon fly, also known in certain areas of the Cantabrian as "Green Mountain", was designed in the late nineteenth century.

This fly is preferably mounted in small sizes and works especially well in cold, clear waters, it is one of the favorite flies for salmon in many salmon rivers.

Along with Black and Silver Doctor, the Green Highlander is a classic salmon fly which is most often used in Norwegian rivers.
